Informational Purpose Only
The data provided by EmergAlert is provided for reference and convenience only. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, the information may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate for your specific situation, region, or time of use.
Always Verify Emergency Numbers
Emergency phone numbers can change without notice. When possible, verify the correct local emergency number upon arrival in a new country. Do not rely solely on EmergAlert in a life-threatening situation without verification.
Does Not Replace Official Services
EmergAlert is not a replacement for official emergency services, local law enforcement, licensed medical professionals, or the assistance hotline of your travel insurance provider. In any genuine emergency, contact the appropriate official service directly.
All Calls Are User-Initiated
EmergAlert never places calls automatically. Every phone call is made by you, through your device's native phone dialer, only after you explicitly confirm. The app cannot and does not call emergency services on your behalf.
Data Confidence Levels
Each country's emergency data is rated with a confidence level: Verified, Partial, or Unverified. Always treat unverified data with additional caution and cross-check before relying on it.
No Liability
The developers and publishers of EmergAlert shall not be held liable for any inaccurate data, missed emergency contact, failed communication, or any harm, loss, or damage — direct or indirect — arising from the use of, or inability to use, this application.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in the app or applicable law. The current version will always be available at emergelert.org/terms. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
